Snow Day

Probably the last one of the year, this snow day i let Chantal stay at home. We made chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream-yeah, made it from scratch-which was pricey but rewardingly yummy. We also made Quiche Chantal. Very much like quiche lorraine, but Chantal chose to put in asparagus instead of the onions. That too was very good. And real men do eat quiche, in fact they have second helpings.
I'll spare you the details of the menial tasks of the day and just say that it was a great mommy daughter snow day. Steve and Jasmyn? yeah, they were home-Call of Duty World at War. It's their thing.
